GOP Is Expected To Block Jan 6 Commission Bill , Caving To Trump

Awaiting the vote on the Jan 6 commission bill. The senate GOP is expected to block it despite please from the fallen Capitol officer's mother and ex-DHS secretaries. The GOP may be caving to Former President Donald Trump. The slain officer's mom asks, "How can they not be doing the right thing?" Mitch McConnell is asking senators to oppose the bill as a "personal favor." 

Gaetz and Greene take road show and Trump's election lie to Georgia. A Gaetz-Greene rallygoer says he's "hopeful" that the election will be overturned and clings to the false claim that Trump won the 2020 presidential election, "This was too great of a crime and we just can't let it go." 

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan is expected to say that conservatives are "at a crossroads" in a speech that rebukes Trump tonight. Rep. Gaetz takes a shot at Former House Speaker Paul Ryan.  Current and former republicans take sides as Trump looms large. 

Authorities has previously detained the California shooter and found hatred towards his employer and had books about terrorism and manifestos. Authorities had questioned the shooter about hating his workplace. Nine victims who were killed in the California shooting have been identified and range in age 29-63.
