It's funny, but in my experience I've found that running often times is symbolic of life itself. And during my super hot 2-miler yesterday I got to thinking about the importance of shifting your gaze higher in order to gain perspective and the courage to see your goals through to the end.

And then the COOLEST thing happened!

I kept shifting my gaze higher and higher...and I looked at the sky above and there was a bald eagle soaring above me.

Yes. True story. This happened, it was magically, and I want to share the experience with you too. So forgive my post-run-out-of-breath voice, but this was too incredible of a moment to let pass.
