The roster cuts have started for the Detroit Lions

The Lions have started to whittle down their roster today and there was one surprising early cut: Dan Skipper. The veteran Tackle released by the team today. Now there is a chance that this is just roster gymnastics and he will be back. Skipper had been Tackle 3 on this team the last few years. Does this mean more opportunity for Gio Manu or Jamarco Jones? We will find out. Jackson Meeks is another guy who has been cut. He had a great preseason and the hope is he stays on the Practice Squad. We discuss the players we know have been let go, which also includes QB Hendon Hooker.
