Mark reminds us that to spread the gospel we must be witness to it with every person we meet. When we become blinded by our religiosity we tend to forget we do not get to choose our neighbors, but every one of God’s creations is our neighbor that we are called to love. No matter what group someone may appear to be a member of, Christians are called to show them the love of Christ rather than to force our Faith. Real change can begin in conversation, a human to human invitation to listen be witness to another can bring about change in the heart.
