Our guest, Gus “Big Dawg” Felder, hails from North Philadelphia and carved out a remarkable journey through the game of football and beyond. A four-year letterman and starter at Penn State University, Gus earned his degree in Kinesiology before going on to complete his Master’s in Educational Leadership and Health Education.On the field, he was a standout offensive lineman, earning All-Big Ten honors and even suiting up for the ClevelandBrowns in the NFL.

But his story didn’t stop there. After his playing career, Gus transitioned into coaching, first at the high school levelin Pennsylvania and Florida before taking on major collegiate roles. He rose through the ranks as Head of Strength andConditioning at Cheyney University, returned to Penn State as an assistant strength coach, and later served as Director of Strength and Conditioning and Offensive Line Coach atClark Atlanta University. His journey continued at powerhouse programs like the University of Georgia,the University of Miami, and now, he’s making his mark as the Director of Player Development, where he mentors and shapes the lives of young athletes.
