342. Controversial Topic: Do You NEED Thyroid Medication? What Is the Cell Danger Response With Dr Eric Balaclavage

I titled this podcast controversial just because it’s important for the listener to know that just because we interview people it doesn’t always mean we 100% agree with everything they have to say. I get this question often that a guest will say something on my show and then they'll question me because I’ve said the opposite in the past. The purpose of having guests on is to give you different opinions and then you as the listener can take this varied information and dissect it. 

Now sometimes it can get confusing with all the differing opinions being thrown at you. But I think if you listen and figure out what is going to work for you, or maybe you try different things or try different approaches in this case for thyroid optimization, you’ll find what resonates with you and what will work for you. 

Today, my guest is the host of The Thyroid Answers Podcast, Dr. Eric Balaclavage and you know, we don't always see eye to eye on everything. He doesn't have the stance on thyroid hormone replacement that I do. He takes a totally different approach. 

He's going to talk about the cell danger response. And today we're going to dive into his different methods and protocols and outlooks on thyroid hormone optimization. 

We're talking about our differences in how we approach reverse T3 levels being high and how we might even approach free T3 levels being low, and we have anecdotal evidence of people that we have helped and achieved success and total optimization and reversal of their symptoms through both of our approaches. So there is no one size fits all so you have to listen and decide for yourself what's going to work for you.
