Dr. Avi Loeb is an astrophysicist at Harvard. He is now Frank B. Baird Jr. Professor of Science, director of the Institute for Theory and Computation and former chair of the Astronomy department (2011-2020).

He also holds a visiting professorship at the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Senior Professorship by special appointment in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Tel Aviv University.

He is also the bestselling author of “Extraterrestrial” and "Interstellar".
