Rev. Dr. Ferrari is a Fellow in six psychological organizations, including APA, APS, and Div.27, Soc for Community Research and Action. He is editor in chief of the Journal of Prevention and Intervention in the Community since 1995. DePaul University awarded Dn. Joe its highest honor for research in 2001 and for public service in 2009, (has been nominated for excellence in teaching six times), and the APA awarded him its "Distinguished Italian-American Psychologist" award in 2016. He is the author of over 430 scholarly publications and 550 professional conferences.
