The guest on today’s episode of Speak Up with Laura Camacho is Millennial and Gen-Z expert Vivek Iyyani.

While Vivek was freelancing as a facilitator and youth coach, he participated in various enrichment programs in different schools working with teens on confidence, leadership, and team bonding. Along the way he realized this was the group that would soon be entering the workforce, and noticed a shift in their priorities compared to his peers and co-workers.

When Vivek began looking at the research regarding Millennials, he saw that many of them struggle with a quarter-life crisis. This finding led to Vivek writing his first book: Empowering Millennials: The 5 Step Sequence to Design a Life of Fun, Freedom and Fortune.

As he continued to interact with Millennials and Gen-Z in the workforce, Vivek noticed some difficulty in the relationship between older generations and Millennials and Gen-Zers.
