He drove from Minneapolis. At that point, he'd been doing NSNG® for just short of a year. He wanted to meet Vinnie and thank him for his part in turning around his health. He found Vinnie through the Carolla show. For the first two years of Vinnie's appearances, he would speed through because he wasn't ready to hear it. Once Gina and Dr. Drew spoke to their personal experiences, Adam started paying attention. He really did feel like his good intentions were healthier -- he tried to do what people said were 'good,' but he could never lose weight or stay on it. Why are we eating the food that farmers feed cows to fatten them up for slaughter? Within a few week, he was listening to his body -- when he was hungry, when he was full. His clothes started fitting differently. He's about 5'9", started around 350 and has lost about 90 lbs. He's just over 2 years in. He has a ways to go, but he knows how he's going to do it.
