268: The Neuroscience Of Belonging & Exclusion with Sarah Peyton

Welcome back to Therapy Chat! This week host Laura Reagan, LCSW-C interviews returning guest Sarah Peyton, the author of Your Resonant Self. Sarah explains the neuroscience of belonging and exclusion. She describes why people gather around a charismatic leader who rails against "others" and what we can do differently. This episode is very timely, as it was recorded before the 2021 US Capitol insurrection that caused so much harm.
