👉🏻 Our guest is Dr. Ronald Donelson, MD, MS, Dip MDT. Dr. Donelson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specialized in and researched diagnostics and non-operative spine care for more than 30 years. He earned a Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy in 1990 and a Master of Science Degree in 1999. He founded SelfCare First in 2004 with a mission to globally improve the quality and cost of care for individuals seeking help for painful low back, neck, and all other musculoskeletal disorders. He has published numerous spinal research studies, chapters, and review articles; presented over one hundred research papers, conference workshops, courses, and symposia in more than 15 countries. He has published three books and a DVD. He has been an Advisory Editor with the journal Spine for many years and a frequent reviewer with other journals. He is a member of low back and neck pain clinical guideline panels with the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the North American Spine Society and a Sr. member of both the North American Spine Society and the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine.
