109. Controversial Topic: How To Get Your Significant Other To Understand Your Disease

Unless someone has walked in your shoes, there is no possible way your significant other can know how you feel and understand this disease unless they've been there and experienced the exact same thing. They can love you, sympathize with you and see your struggle, but they cannot understand on that deep, deep level what you are experiencing.

In this episode, I share some helpful advice on how to communicate with your significant other. To gain that backing, or pat on the shoulder and have that support behind you can make a huge difference in your healing process.

For 25 years I have heard from my patients how their significant other just doesn't get it. Implement just a few ideas I share, it may make this whole journey a bit smoother.
