In this message, I reflect upon the life and legacy of my friend, Charlie Kirk, who was so brutally taken from us on September 10th, 2025, at Utah Valley University. Charlie was more than a political figure; he was a visionary who dedicated his short 31 years to redirecting a generation away from destructive ideologies and toward the hope of faith, family, and a lasting inheritance. Through his work with Turning Point USA, TPUSA Faith, and TPUSA Action, Charlie reshaped the conservative movement and pointed thousands of young men and women to Christ. As we mourn his loss, we must also heed the lesson that Charlie’s life so clearly demonstrates: time is precious. Jonathan Edwards once wrote that once time is gone, it can never be regained—and Charlie redeemed every moment the Lord gave him. His steadfast vision, his commitment to truth, and his unwavering devotion to Christ now place upon us the responsibility to carry this work forward. The task before us is not optional; it is essential.
