In this episode we listen to Honorable Caroline Cochrane, Premier of the Northwest Territories, Canada discuss the changes in Canada‘s Arctic. The Premier‘s speech is followed by a youth panel discussing the future of Canada‘s Arctic.

The Panel is chaired by H.E. Whit Fraser, Author, Former Journalist; Founding Chair, Canadian Polar Commission; and Former Executive Director, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami. This event originally took place at the 2022 Arctic Circle Assembly in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Arctic Circle is the largest network of international dialogue and cooperation on the future of the Arctic. It is an open democratic platform with participation from governments, organizations, corporations, universities, think tanks, environmental associations, Indigenous communities, concerned citizens, and others interested in the development of the Arctic and its consequences for the future of the globe.
