Adding PEEP to IPPV

Exploring the benefits of setting airway pressures to multiples of five or even numbers during general anesthesia to enhance lung function, prevent atelectasis, and improve oxygenation. Benefits include decreased work of breathing and prevention of ventilator-related lung injury.
