Mecca is a billion-dollar Australian cosmetics empire with legions of devoted fans, thanks to a genius loyalty scheme. Its founder Jo Horgan, one of the country’s most celebrated entrepreneurs, has a message of female empowerment. But Mecca’s also had to deal with women - customers and staff - questioning what the business is really all about.
