Betty and I will bitch about the use of bandaid medications for symptoms of menopause and the Women's Health Initiative study, but the bottom line is we don't have to bandaid menopause. We don't have to be scared of supplementing with bioidentical hormones to improve the symptoms of menopause. Menopause does not need another pharmaceutical medication to cover up symptoms...it's hormones that are needed in most cases. Your body once produced these hormones but it's no longer producing an adequate amounts anymore because of age and ovarian decline. Betty will also speak on the safety and efficacy of hormone replacement therapy and what women can expect as they begin their journey of replacing hormones during menopause.
