Glen and Beth Schmeisl are the founders of Mold Canine. Mold Canine uses Molly, their mold sniffing pup, as tool to help families locate the growth of harmful molds in their home. She is able to find 18 different types of toxic mold and pinpoint their sources. Molly is the only mold dog in Michigan trained by Bill Whitstine, who pioneered the mold dog industry. 26 years ago, Bill identified the growing problem of mold in homes and businesses and worked with researchers to further investigate the possibility that dogs could be trained to detect molds. He has been a leader in the field of canine training since 1989 when he was the first person to attend the Maine State Police Canine Academy in Accelerant Detection. Bill and his dogs have been featured in over nine shows, including several segments on the Animal Planet and The Discovery Channel.
