The Independent Spirit Awards took place over the weekend and even though the red carpet was packed with Hollywood A-Listers, the winner's list featured quite a few pleasant surprises.

And Pamela Anderson is taking on a covered new Broadway role, which follows the news that Netflix has picked up her documentary. Things are looking up for Pamela, but it’s allowed some people to draw an ugly comparison from the problematic TV show that bears her name and this new wave of success.

Plus, it’s been 20 years since The Osbournes first aired on MTV and changed the face of reality TV forever. The story behind the show’s success is one for the ages, but there’s also a very dark tale that went along with the family’s success in front of the cameras.
