Daily Puck Drop w/ Jim Moore: UNLV QB NIL drama. M's, still holding out hope?

On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett and Jim Moore jump right into the disaster that was recording their ‘Old Crimson Podcast on Tuesday afternoon. They said it was the best/worst podcast they have ever done and it’s a must listen and watch. 

They switch gears to the story involving the UNLV QB, who has decided to redshirt this season because he was promised a certain amount of NIL money and it was not met, so despite their 3-0 start, he has decided to sit the rest of the season.  Jim and Puck discuss both sides of the story, but ultimately agree that this is the root of the problem in college football 

Have they given up on the Mariners?  Not just yet, but they both acknowledge that the playoffs aren’t going to happen and that this year was just a waste of an opportunity for the Mariners 

Jim entertains Puck with his Seahawks/Lions fun facts for the game on Monday…Puck is not thrilled. 

Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times joins the show for his weekly visit and they talk about Houston wrapping up another division title.  What led the Mariners to their epic collapse.  A number of changes will happen in the offseason, what players will and won’t be back?  is it possible for Julio to get off to a better start and what happened to J.P. this season?  Lastly, please don’t trade any of their young pitchers. 

Danny Kelly, The Ringer, drops by for his weekly chat on all things NFL.  Do we truly believe in the Seahawks 3-0 start. What about all the rash of injuries in the NFL?  Seahawks need to take advantage of injury plagued NFC West.  Taylor Swift is obviously to blame for the struggles of Travis Kelce.  Has Malik Willis figured it out and could he be in the plans for the Seahawks?  Jayden Daniels most impressive rookie and Puck can’t believe it.  Lastly, Danny offers his fantasy football advice.
