My guest for this week's PoM Podcast is Jon Seidl, author of the book "Finding Rest: Navigating the Valley's of Anxiety, Faith and Life."
Jon has suffered from crippling anxiety, life-altering OCD and suicidal thoughts since he was a boy. It is something he opened up about his book, “Finding Rest: Navigating the Valleys of Anxiety, Faith, and Life,” which chronicles his journey while providing practical, scripturally based insight into mental health disorders.
Throughout the book, Jon speaks about how his own diagnosis impacted the early days of his marriage to his wife Brett, his friendships and his work, and how he found balance and healing through counseling, Scripture and medication after being formally diagnosed in 2014.
