In this concluding segment of the sixth The Way of the Mystic revival weekend, David Hoffmeister answers questions from participants, showing how the A Course in Miracles applies to our daily interactions while exploring the theme "Perfect love casts out fear: Shower the people you love with love".
David highlights the discrepancy between our conscious words and the deep-seated unconscious beliefs that direct our seemingly ordinary lives. He addresses the mind's attraction to a world of bodies—which God did not create—reminding us that joy bubbles up when we realize that prayers are answered in ways that are specifically meaningful to us within our perceived contexts.
Using metaphors and parables from his journey, David illustrates that external forms are never the problem. Conflict arises only from our desire to rearrange these forms in search of peace. Since we have no actual control over the world of illusions, we are invited to step off the "spaghetti" of linear time when tempted by the perception of attack. By accessing the miracle within, we are lifted above the ego’s battleground to an eternal peace untouched by the world.
