136: Charles Clinton: Making It Easier for Investors to Leverage the Power of Crowdsourcing

My guest today is Charles Clinton. Charles is the founder and CEO of EQUITYMULTIPLE, where he shapes the company's strategic vision and oversees daily operations. Prior to founding the company in 2015, Charles was a real estate attorney with Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, where he worked on a variety of major transactions for private equity clients, primarily Blackstone and KKR. During his time at Simpson, Charles worked on over $10 billion in real estate transactions, including Blackstone's $1.7 billion purchase of the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Blackstone's $1.9 billion purchase of Motel 6 and Hilton's real estate asset restructuring and refinancing in advance of its $2.5 billion IPO.
