Learn to let misunderstandings stand - once you know someone is listening to misunderstand, you can comfortably move on.
Don't get pulled into stupid conversations. For all you know, you're arguing with a 15-year-old… or someone who is deeply unwell and incapable of doing better. Either way, those conversations never end well. Spend your energy elsewhere.
