In almost all energy debates in Australia you never hear about nuclear energy, even though it has a lower carbon footprint than fossil fuels, such as coal, and even though we are the world’s third-largest uranium producer after Kazakhstan and Canada.
Mick Foley - climate and energy correspondent for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald tells us other countries – like the US, France and the UK - have embraced it.
