'Rudy' is an inspirational true story and mostly a work of fiction

While Terez Paylor & Charles Robinson take a much-needed holiday break, the Yahoo Sports NFL Podcast brings back its favorite summer tradition: the football movie review.

This episode covers the 1993 college football classic Rudy, starring Sean Astin in the title role and including a pair of breakout performances from the previously unknown Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn. 

Charles & Terez break down the overwhelming obstacles the movie puts in front of Rudy and the absurd amount of creative license the movie takes with the story in order to tug at the heart-strings -- most of it untrue.
