What does public health mean to you? Access to healthcare for all walks of life Bio  Dr John Brosious is the founder of the gender surgery program at UNLV, and co-founder of NGAHP. After graduating from Indiana University School of Medicine, he completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Nevada. His passion in gender affirming care began years ago while in practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After returning to Nevada in 2016, he quickly realized the need to streamline gender-affirming healthcare in Nevada. Working with the gender expansive community is currently the focus of his practice, in addition to complex reconstruction for trauma, burn, and cancer patients.
