PLM 449 : If You’re Not Outside Your Comfort Zone, You Won’t Learn Anything

If you’re not outside your comfort zone, you won’t learn anything. In this podcast, I share with you why it's so important to leave your comfort zone and enter into a learning zone. By nature, human beings crave security and comfort. Although a comfort zone feels safe, this isn’t where the magic happens. Anything of value in life requires that you push your boundaries. When you get out of your comfort zone, you challenge yourself to do things that you wouldn’t normally do. If you are constantly afraid to take risks in life and do things that scare you, you will never truly understand who you are. As they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained. To this day, I am constantly pushing myself and doing things that allow me to grow. The reality is that if you aren’t growing, you’re dying. If you want to master your life, you need to learn how to be comfortable being uncomfortable. If you're not outside your comfort zone, you won't learn anything. Are you going to play it safe and keep dreaming of a better life, or are you going to step outside of your comfort zone and design the life that you desire? The choice is yours.
