Israel rejects US-France ceasefire push, NYC mayor, Russia’s war drone project in China and OpenAI

Israel has put the brakes on a on U.S-France ceasefire push with Hezbollah. New York City’s Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted following a federal corruption probe. Russia has established a program in China to develop and produce long-range attack drones for the war against Ukraine, according to sources, while the Chinese government says it’s not aware of such a project. And ChatGPT-maker Open AI is planning to turn its core business into a for-profit benefit corporation, as well as give CEO Sam Altman equity for the first time.
