The Chicago Cubs took down the Atlanta Braves, 4-3 at Wrigley to kick off their series. The Cubs won in extras on a Nico Hoerner high-chopper to take game one of the series against the Braves. Javier Assad and Charlie Morton kept the offenses at bay in short starts, but the Cubs bullpen was up to the task against a tough Atlanta offense.
