From stars that vanish in a single photograph to the strange architecture of intelligence itself, this episode of The Dreamland Motel asks what happens when the watcher isn’t human… and isn’t necessarily alien.
We follow the trail from Dr. Beatriz Villarroel’s mysterious Palomar sky transients, through the “Menzel Gap” in Harvard’s astronomical archives, to the possibility of a vast, galactic-scale network of synthetic minds — and what it might be waiting for.
Along the way, we revisit some of the most famous encounters in UFO history, nuclear incursions, abduction cases, mass sightings. We explore how they might connect to a single, hidden architecture of observation.
I also introduce a hypothesis of my own: The Cosmic Internet Hypothesis.
