Dr. Laurel Hicks, PhD is a mental health researcher at the University of Colorado, an expert in women's mental health, community-based interventions, and intergenerational trauma. She combines both her academic and clinical experience with more holistic practices to co-create healing opportunities that support thriving. In addition to publishing book chapters, peer reviewed papers and speaking internationally, Dr. Hicks connects with community through co-facilitation of women's circles. At the heart of her work, she believes that building community, connecting with the Divine Feminine, and sitting together in sisterhood provides deep and meaningful healing.
