Episode 12: “Out of Luck”

More bold proclamations and predictions from the Super Flexible gang going into Week 8, although Week 7 ended up being humbling to some extent for all three of the guys. But “You’re Nuts!” was generous to at least one of the SuperFlex SuperFriends, while another was essentially shut out! The guys have a new round of “You’re Nuts!” predictions, focusing on the running backs for Week 8, and some Week 8 Super Streakers as well.

Plus, Carson Palmer may be done for good (or at least the season), but how much can you trust his replacement? Jay Cutler is injured and will return soon, but will he have a job to return to? DeShone Kizer finds himself in a vicious cycle of being named the starter in Cleveland, then getting benched almost immediately; how can he jump off this carous-hell? And Amari Cooper appears to be back, but can fantasy players really trust him? And do they have a choice??

After reflecting on some trades (and debating the values of Marcus Mariota, Ezekiel Elliott, and more), John mediates the inaugural “FaceOff” between James and Travis, as they attempt to settle a disagreement on Andrew Luck. There’s a 7-spot discrepancy between their rankings of Luck in dynasty superflex, so they’ll hash it out and plead their cases!
