The first weekend of the new Bundesliga season didn’t disappoint - including yet another Leverkusen late show and opening day victories for Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. 

Plus, over in Spain Barcelona maintained their winning start under Hansi Flick while both Madrid sides registered 3-0 triumphs.
