She has done a great deal of work on the case of 17 year old Brianna Maitland, who disappeared in rural Montgomery, Vermont on March 19, 2004; she is still missing 16 years later. The Cascade County Sheriff’s Office said it appeared to be the oldest homicide case in the United States to be solved with genetic genealogy.
