Mark "Howie" Howard is a sports broadcaster, commentator and podcaster. You'll catch him on television as part of the Fox Cricket & Footy team and on radio at Triple M. His podcast, "The Howie Games" is the number one sports podcast in Australia and one of the largest podcasts in the world.

What an honour it was for us to be welcomed into The Howie Games studio to interview one of our biggest inspirations for starting our show all those years ago.

And it didn't take long for us to chat travel! Howie shared some of his insane travel stories including being held at gun point in South Africa where he genuinely thought his life was over!

We hear how those early travel days and lessons translated into the career he went down and the impacts it still has today for both his job and how he views the world.

We laugh as Howie shares some of the mistakes he has made on air, the friendships he has formed and the one thing he regrets in his broadcasting career.

We hear about the impact of one of his great mates and Australian legend, Shane Warne and the legacy he has left behind. Plus, go behind the scenes of the Warnie memorial and Howie's part in that. Fair to say this was one of the only times he was genuinely nervous!
