Dr. Paul Dieppe is a globally recognized expert in osteoarthritis and a recipient of prestigious honors, including the NIHR Senior Investigator award, the Osteoarthritis Research Society's Lifetime Achievement Award, and Master of the American College of Rheumatology. With a distinguished career in rheumatology and health services research, he has held major academic and leadership roles, including Dean of Medicine at the University of Bristol and Director of the UK Medical Research Council’s Health Services Research Collaboration. Since 2009, he has been an emeritus professor at the University of Exeter, focusing on healing, placebo effects, and patient-centered care, while continuing osteoarthritis research.
