So often as human beings, we are hard wired to go go go. We want to achieve, to be "done", to check the box and get the A. Even if you aren't that kind of a driven person, most of us are still pretty desperate - when we are feeling bad - to feel better. We want to be well. We want a finish line.
The problem with this very natural human posture is that it sends a signal of fear to the Brain and Nervous System, therefore fortifying the need to stay in fight or flight. Today on the pod we discuss the life changing benefit of staying energetically still. Of being willing to receive rather than pursue. It is a challenge, if you're anything like me, but something that can really propel healing and progress in a way that feels counterintuitive.
