It’s NCAA Tournament time and D-Fly & Dixie are here to get you informed and pumped up for all the games. This week we’re joined by Matt Kinnear, the Editor-in-Chief at Inside Lacrosse, to recap the Wednesday Opening Round action and preview all eight First Round games this weekend. It’s a fantastic lineup with four games each on Saturday and Sunday.
The white smoke you saw was not from the Conclave, but it’s the smoke coming out of the overheated PA system at Cornell’s Schoellkopf Field as it plays “Freebird” for the 247th time. By Sunday it will be repaired and is ready to blare more Skynyrd. In addition to the games, the guys discuss the Tewaaraton finalists, the new Pope, Capital Area lacrosse, Caleb Fyock, beef jerky, Michigan’s cookies and much, much more.
