Said to be one of Indonesia’s most haunted places, the Lawang Sewu is notorious for being featured in the final episode of a local paranormal TV series, where an apparition was caught on video. A few days later, rumors spread online that one of the participants had died mysteriously.

This incident, maybe not even related, just added to the fuel to the fire of the myth of the Lawang Sewu and so it continues to be one of the most visited haunted sites in Indonesia.
