The US supreme court will hear challenges to affirmative action in college admission. The President and Executive Director of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law will explain how much of a slippery slope this could end up being.

Yesterday would have been the 24th birthday of Lauren Smith Fields; the young black Bridgeport, Connecticut woman found dead in her home after a date with a white man she met on a dating app. A Bridgeport city council member will be here to answer our questions about the family's allegations of how the police department is botching the investigation.
