- Trebble has launched a new, “reliable AI editing tool”, called DeepCut. The tool can be personalised to specific podcasts; and can be given natural language instructions. An optional upgrade, Safe Cut, can be used to automatically make edits that sound natural. The company, which is more than twelve years old, has also had a makeover: a new logo and website.
- Edison Research released the Top 50 Podcasts in the US for Q3 2025, from Edison Podcast Metrics. The survey-based data lists all shows and was continuously collected in July, August and September. The Charlie Kirk Show jumped to #17, while The Meidas Touch Podcast also entered the top 20 for the first time.
- The Black Podcasting Awards celebrated its 2025 winners in a first-ever in-person ceremony. Anna DeShawn earned four honors; Lisa Woolfork, Dominic Lawson and the We Sound Crazy Podcast got three. We’ve a full list.
