Overnight a federal appeals court ruled the Justice Department can resume using documents marked as classified taken from Mar-a-Lago in its criminal probe. That comes on top of a new civil lawsuit filed by New York's attorney general alleging more than a decade of fraud in the Trump Organization. The ex-president and his three eldest children are accused of vastly overestimating his wealth, as they sought loans and pursued deals. This morning, Russia is calling up thousands of reserve troops to fight in Ukraine and sparking a lot of public anger. One monitoring group says nearly 1,400 people in 38 Russian cities were taken away by police in anti-government protests yesterday. The Russian president's military escalation was sharply criticized by Western leaders at the United Nations General Assembly. The Federal Reserve raised interest rates again yesterday by three-quarters of a percentage point, for the third time this year. It's part of a continuing effort to slow inflation, but it could lead to a recession.
