On today’s episode of Felony Friday Maj Toure joins host John Odermatt. Maj is a rapper and the founder of the pro-gun group Black Guns Matter. His group educates people in urban communities on their 2nd amendment rights and responsibilities through firearms training and education.

Maj shares the origin story of Black Guns Matter. He shares his vision for the group and outlines the education and firearms training Black Guns Matter offers. Maj explains why he believes his group has been able to relate to local communities, which has led to a really positive reception in all of the urban areas where Black Guns Matter has reached out. He also addresses some of the obstacles that stand in the way of progress and explains the attitude change that need to occur in urban areas in order to overcome these obstacles.
