Dennis (Dizzy) Doan is a San Diego based tattoo artist, designer, philanthropist and author. During the pandemic he created the iconic digital painting "Model Minority©" depicting a woman wearing the Vietnamese conical hat, dawning a face mask with the words, "Hate is a virus." Doan’s painting was widely shared on the internet and used by the numerous Anti-Asian Hate protests that swept the nation.
These days, he is still deeply committed to his craft as a tattoo artist while building his non-profit, The Doan Foundation to empower teen creatives from marginalized communities throughout Southern California.
