An avid consumer of performance-focused books, podcasts and videos, McDermott shares his background that led to being part of the Utes' staff, then describes how he synthesized his own thoughts and ideas with some of the best lessons he's taken in over the years. It culminated in a narrative journey for a young lacrosse player who wants to train like a black belt, mastering his craft and unlocking his potential.
