On the 2nd episode this week with Dr. Vignesh, Ashdin talks to him all about the practise of Panchakarma, the five karmas that help cleanse your body and mind through deep levels of detoxification. Dr. Vignesh talks about what Panchakarma really is, why it should only be done under the supervision of a proper ayurvedic doctor, and why it can be tremendously beneficial to do the treatment. Dr. Vignesh also talks about the five procedures of Panchakarma - Vamana (induced vomiting therapy), Virechana (flushing out toxins from the intestine), Niroohavasti (decoction enema), Nasyam (cleansing of the nostrils), and Rakta Mokshan (bloodletting) - and how these procedures aim at plucking away the deep rooted imbalances in the body.
