Coffee and Bible Time Podcast More of Him, Less of Me: Mindset Shifts to Be More Like Jesus | Chelsey DeMatteis
Today we are talking about “More of Him; Less of Me” and the Biblical truths and concepts that will help challenge, change and shape the way we think of living a life more focused on Christ in a me-centered world. This me-centered world begins with our own thoughts that are pervasive in our minds from the minute we wake up until the minute we fall asleep. In fact, research shows that we have over 6000 thoughts in a day. What if, we shifted even a portion of our thoughts from this me-mentality to pursuing God fully and whole-heartedly?
Well our guest today, Chelsey DeMatteis, is going to help us explore why and how we can shift our thoughts to more of Christ and less of us. You will see that when we are saturated with God’s Word and fully see who He is, we will be in awe of God’s character and that will lead us to want to know God more, follow Him, serve Him and be a light in the world. You will see a shift in thinking away from how we can help ourselves, to how God can transform our lives if we let Him.
