Transformation is not about you! No matter how hard you try, change can be your worst enemy. Your will can be strong, but your mind must be stronger.

Life seems to wrap us up in its dilemmas and priorities. We relinquish control and do what comes easy.Every once in a while, the urge hits us. I need to change this.
So you begin the process of making some changes to what you would like to see happen. And then life happens! It's back to what you know and you accept it, maybe with a little rebellious play.
Why can't change stick with just a few tweaks?
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." ~ Romans 12:2You can't change things until you renew your mind. That means your thoughts must change.
Change cannot happen when you conform to the patterns of this world. And those temptations are too great to resist.
So how do you really make a change that's greater than the patterns of this world?
For one, you must decide and make a commitment that you're worth it.
God knows that you are. But do you?
Do you honestly believe that you are worth the change and all the mess you will encounter to get to your end goal?
You must believe!
When your belief is greater than your mess, change can occur.
"God can change your heart, but you must change your mind!"
The K.I.S.S. ~ Change your mind!Once when you embrace your own worth and see how wonderfully and fearfully God made you, change is possible!
The value that you place on the patterns of this world will melt away slowly. Because you begin to see and understand from a heavenly perspective.
But understand this, you must be willing to do this with no one watching. Transformation is not about you! It's the impact that you will create in the process.
All throughout your life, you have been creating neural pathways that say, "I need to do this because..."
The crazy thing is, is that you don't even stop long enough to comprehend what you do to have it make sense in why you do it.
You have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16)
Yet you question whether or not you are capable. Your belief wavers every day. You feel more comfortable with what you know than what you don't know.
God will use you publicly when He can trust what you can do privately.
Impact is a great responsibility. And it begins with what you do when no one is watching.
- Evaluate why you do what you do. Is it for attention? Are you trying to look a certain way for others to see? God can't use you publicly until He can trust you privately. Ask yourself why you are doing what you're doing. Maybe the reason you want to change doesn't add up to what God has in store for you.
- Discover a deeper motivation for you personally. What does it mean to you, and only you, when reaching for a particular goal? You might look forward to how people see you when you make this transformation. But it's how this can serve you personally, so eventually you can serve others? Remember, you are not broadcasting what you are doing. You are doing the do with God at the helm.
- Create accountability for yourself. Commit to YOU with integrity to change what needs to change. It's not about you gaining recognition. It's not about, "OMGosh, I can't believe you did all of this." It's all about what you do when no one is watching. God wants to trust you with His divine dreams. But you have to be willing to do the work.
Soon, people will begin to notice the changes. Comments will be made and surprise statements will be shared. You made the the change not for notoriety, but for God's eyes only. You will receive favor from God.
